Services
Four things we do, and every one starts with a conversation.
Everything below is fixed scope unless it says otherwise. You'll know the price and exactly what you'll get before any work starts.
- 01
Consulting and architecture
For when you're about to spend real money on software and want a second opinion first. We read the code, talk to the people, and write down what we'd do and why. You can hand the result to any team, including one that isn't us.
When you need it: before a rewrite, before a hire, before a vendor decision, or when a project has stalled and nobody agrees why.
build-versus-buyper component What you get
- A written audit of the current system, in plain language
- Architecture recommendation with the trade-offs spelled out
- Build-versus-buy call for every major component
- A roadmap with phases you can budget against
Length and price: one price, typically two to four weeks.
- 02
Product development
Web platforms, APIs, integrations and the infrastructure under them. We build in .NET and TypeScript on PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS, and we build for the person who maintains it after us, with tests, documentation and code the next engineer can follow.
When you need it: a product to launch, a platform to extend, an integration nobody on your team has time for.
milestonesdemo every week What you get
- Working software demonstrated every week
- Automated tests and a deployment pipeline
- Documentation written for your next engineer
- Everything in your repository from day one, so you're never locked in to us
Length and price: priced per milestone, typically six to sixteen weeks.
- 03
Modernisation and migrations
Replacing a system that still runs the business. We do it module by module: the old system keeps running, each new piece is proven in production, and there is never a weekend where everything switches at once. We've done this from Ruby to .NET on a live booking platform.
See how we did it for VialuxuryWhen you need it: the codebase is slowing every release, the people who wrote it are gone, or the platform it runs on is going out of support.
module by moduletraffic never stops What you get
- A migration map: what moves first, what moves last, what dies
- Parity checks so the new module behaves like the old one
- Zero-downtime cutovers, one module at a time
- The old system switched off only when nothing depends on it
Length and price: priced per module. Months, not weeks, and we'll say so up front.
- 04
Forward deployed engineers
One or two of us join your team, in your tools and your stand-ups, for a quarter or longer. You get people who have led platform decisions before and will make them with you, rather than waiting to be told.
When you need it: a strategic project your team can't staff, a technical lead gap, or a few months where you need senior people without making a senior hire.
your teamyour tools What you get
- Named engineers, no substitutions
- Central European hours with US morning overlap
- A written handover when the engagement ends
- A month's notice either way
Length and price: priced per quarter, renewed quarterly.
